How It Works

Our calculator offers two distinct modes, both with real-time feedback and persistent data saving.

  1. Choose Your Calculator: Select either the "Semester GPA" tab to calculate your current performance or the "Target GPA" tab to plan for the future.
  2. Enter Your Data: In the Semester tab, list your courses, credits, and grades. In the Target tab, fill in your current stats and your desired GPA.
  3. Get Instant, Detailed Results: The tool automatically calculates and displays the results in real-time. All your data is saved in your browser, so you can pick up where you left off.

How to Use the Calculator

  1. For Semester GPA:
    On the "Semester" tab, enter your previous GPA and credits if applicable. Use the "Add Course" button to create rows for each class, then select the credits and the grade received.
  2. To Plan for a Target GPA:
    Switch to the "Target" tab. Fill in your current cumulative GPA, total credits earned, your desired target GPA, and the number of additional credits you plan to take.
  3. To Customize the Scale:
    Click the settings icon (⚙️) to open the modal. Here you can change the maximum GPA and the point value for each individual letter grade to perfectly match your school's system.
